1. Brief & Discovery

Once we are engaged on a project we will go through a briefing process. Clients are sent a questionnaire where we aim to establish their vision. If there is anything that requires special attention we will go through it with them. If there are no drawings of the existing conditions we will begin with a site measure and create a floor plan inhouse.

2. Concept

During concept design we will review the current interior and collaborate with the architect, builder and the project team. At the end of this phase we provide clients with the look and feel of their project using a selection of images, sketches and digital media.

3. Design Development

During this stage we will develop a three dimensional model for your project along with preliminary floor plans and key interior views to help you visualise the design. We will also make preliminary finishes and fixtures selections following your brief and review it with you in a design workshop.

4. Interior Documentation

Nothing will communicate the design intent to your project team better than a full set of interior documents including detailed joinery drawings, wet area details and a finishes, fixtures & equipment schedule. This set can be used for tender and construction process. If completed early in the process, it can also be used for initial pricing or become part of your build contract or finance approval.

5. Assistance during construction process

Where required, we can also provide the necessary assistance to get your project progressing through quoting and construction process. We liaise with trades and consultants, review shop drawings, and respond to queries as required. We schedule regular site appointments, and can additionally visit at your request.

6. Furniture Selection

Where required, we can assist our clients with furniture, lighting, accessories, artwork and window coverings’ selections. We will provide furniture layouts and recommend the pieces that will complement the interior space. We can also assist with the procurement of those items, place orders, procure furniture, accessories and artwork and oversee the delivery to ensure the space looks absolutely flawless.

We can assist you with the interior design of one room to the entire house or apartment. When it comes to any new structural building works we will work alongside your builder and architect / building designer.

If you are looking for assistance with furniture and lighting selections, floor and wall coverings, soft furnishings, window coverings, artwork and accessories selections for your home, we can help you. We will learn more about your home, your style and your budget, so we can provide our recommendations in line with those. When it comes to our services, we can assist you with both the selections and the procurement of your items.

Depending on your project timeline and our agreed scope, each stage of the works will take on average 3-4 weeks. Once the package is presented to you, we will await your feedback in order to proceed with the next stage. We recommend not to leave interior design of your project till last and get it designed and documented well ahead of construction. Our documentation packages are often used for project pricing, applying for finance and finalising builder contracts.

You can choose to engage us to assist you with quality control during construction. Generally, once the documentation package is handed over to the client, they are responsible to ensure it is reviewed and they are happy with all the selections. However, changes are sometimes inevitable during construction.

If you are looking to ensure the best outcome for your project and would like us to make the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, we can assist you during your entire construction process. We will review any shop drawings or relevant quotations to ensure the design is followed closely, conduct regular site visits to answer any site queries your builder and trades have and ensure they have all the documentation they require.

We follow their work closely and intimately know their capabilities, timelines and the quality of their work. Having a great team by your side will ensure there are few surprises along the way, your project runs stress-free, on budget and the design is realised as closely as possible.

When we engage to work on your project, we learn as much as we can about your budget, including any builder allowances, preferred suppliers and sqm rates and we put together our design with those constraints in mind. Once the builder is on board and the project is priced, we can assist you and the team with value management where required to ensure the design fits within your budget. We may change a particular product we had selected but we ensure the design intent behind it remains intact.

We are based in Brisbane and service all of Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. However, we have previously worked on projects elsewhere in Australia and overseas.
